Is there a vaccine for COVID-19?
Yes, several vaccines are now in use. The first major vaccination program began in early December 2020, and the number of vaccine doses administered is updated daily. At least 13 different vaccines (via 4 stages) were given.
The Pfizer / Biotech Community Vaccine was listed for the World Health Organization Emergency Use List (EUL) on 31 December 2020. Given the EUL on February 16th. Developed by Johnson & Johnson Johnson / Ad 26.Cov 2. S 2021 Listed for EU on 12 March. Listed for the European Union on May 7, 2021. The cyanoform vaccine is manufactured by Beijing-based biotechnology company, a subsidiary of the Chinese National Biotechnology Group (CNBG).

What types of COVID-19 vaccines are being developed? How would they work?
Scientists around the world are developing many vaccines for COVID-19. These vaccines are designed to teach the body’s immune system to identify and block the virus that causes COVID-19 safely.
Several different types of potential vaccines for COVID-19 are being developed.
Inactivated or weakened virus vaccine does not cause disease because it is inactivated or weakened, but still generates an immune response.
Protein-based vaccines use harmful components of proteins or protein shells that mimic the COVID-19 virus to safely generate an immune response.
Viral vector vaccines use a protective virus that can not cause disease, but the corona virus serves as a platform for protein production to generate an immune response.
RNA and DNA vaccination is the latest approach to using genetically engineered RNA or DNA to produce proteins.

Is the vaccine safe for children?
Vaccines are usually tested in adults to prevent exposure to children who are still growing and developing. COVID-19 is one of the most serious and dangerous diseases in the adult population. They are studied in children because they are vaccinated to be safe for adults. Once that study is complete, we need to know more and guidelines will be developed.
Therefore make sure children stay away from others physically, clean their hands regularly, go to the kitchen and cough up elbows, and wear age-appropriate masks.
