Black Widow is just months away and here’s the complete lowdown for the new MCU movie
The Black Widow finally gets her own solo film after 13 years. Admittedly, if not for the covid, it will come sooner – but with the film hitting the big screen and Disney Plus in July 2021.
It has been months since I saw Natasha Romanoff for her first (and only potential). Lonely adventure.
Starring Scarlett Johansson, who returns as Avenger, the film also stars Florence Pug as Yelena Belova, David Port as Stranger Things as Alexei Shostkov, and Rachel Weiss as Melina Vostokov.
To prepare you for the Black Widow,
we have changed everything you need to know about the film, the date of the transfer, the running time, the star-studded cast, and what you need to know about the plot so far.
In addition, see where the story fits into the trailer and the Marvel timeline as a whole. Scroll down to find out everything we know so far about the latest Marvel 4th movie, Black Widow.
Black Widow movie release date: more delays
All of that changes ahead of schedule. Marvel’s hand was forced on several occasions to close theaters due to COVID-19,which was originally rumored on May 1, 2020.
The release date of the Black Widow was pushed to November 6, 2020, then to May 7, 2021, and finally to July 7, 2021.
Not only is the new Marvel movie coming to theaters, it is also coming to Disney Plus – with a $ 30 / £ 20 premiere entry fee.
Running time is revealed, and sometimes hints that things are going on. You have 133 minutes of Marvel waiting for you this July.
Black Widow movie cast
Scarlett Johansson is definitely coming back to Natasha Romanov. How can there be a black widow movie without her? But she is not coming alone.
She joined Black Widow movie star Florence Pug, a Midsummer lead, as Yelena, another member of the Black Widow Training Program.
Pug describes her character as Natasha “like a sister,” but as we soon find out, there is plenty of bad blood between the two.
Pug will also return to the MCU of the Hawkeye series, signaling that she has a serious future under the Marvel Studio umbrella.
Rachel Weiss, meanwhile, is another new black widow on the block, played by Melina Vostokov. Spoiler may be here, but she’s not so famous in comics. There she goes under the guise of a villain named Iron Maiden who has infuriated Nat.
Perhaps the hottest commodity to join the fray is the Doctor of Strangers’ David Harbor.
Here, but he changes his police hat for a bigger police shield because he plays Alexei Shostekov, otherwise known as the Red Guardian in comics.
As the trailer shows, he even gets a suit that is unsuitable to squeeze and puts his hand on several masked enemies.
It has been revealed that Natasha will face off against the villain who recently aired a series of (angry) scenes on Spider-Man PS4, but there is not a word about casting.
Elsewhere, Ray Winston, a British drama legend, has signed on to play an unnamed character in the film, and THR says O.T.
Fagbennell also appears in The Black Widow of The Handmade Tale fame. No one knows who he is playing for. We only have one leaked image. Hmm …
There have been rumors circulating about two MCU actors posing as part of the Black Widow movie stars.
The first is a big one: Robert Downey Jr. Yup. It’s been almost two years since Tony Stark left the Avengers: End Game. There is a slight distortion.
The camera is reportedly ripped straight from Captain America: a scene from the Civil War deleted, showing Stark telling Nate to run for it. It fits in well with the Black Widows timeline between Infinite War and End Game.
The inclusion of General Ross (William Hurt), last seen in the End Game, is also interesting. But in 2008 he became even more famous for his opposite role in the film The Incredible Hulk. He saw it in the latest trailer. Can he set up the ugly Marvel team Thunderbolts to hire him?
